Dr Ken MacTaggart

Ken has over 30 years experience in business and economic development, both in the private sector and as a director of government agencies in the UK. He was Chief Economist of the Highlands & Islands, and Head of the Knowledge and IT sectors in Scotland. As a business and development consultant he now works in the fields of technology, IT, telecommunications and R&D in Europe and internationally. He has advised several governments on ICT policy, and as a lecturer on space technology he contributes to NASA’s History Office.

Ken has a PhD in Technology Policy from Birmingham, England and Wuppertal, Germany.

Tarun Mehra
Tarun is an enterprise business systems solution architect who combines advanced technical proficiency with keen awareness of core business issues. He is a demonstrated team leader with 18 years in the IT sector and his experience embraces building and managing off-shore teams to deliver complex projects with excellent customer-oriented results. Tarun’s track record includes 9 years with Oracle E-Business Suite and 11 years with Oracle Database. He is the author of several technical and policy papers.

Vivek Kapoor
Vivek is a solution architect currently working with Netapps in Sunnyvale, California to implement Opportunity to Order applications. His work track record covers Oracle 11i applications at Sun Micro Systems including Campaign to Invoice, pricing policy software, other Oracle applications, and managing extensive SCRUM teams including off-shore.

Dr Saumitra Rawat
Saumitra has 20 years experience in several business sectors including medical, IT, energy, commercial and residential property. He brings extensive market knowledge of Europe, the US and India to the team. He is a consultant surgeon in laparoscopy, and contributor to the Oxford Handbooks of Clinical Surgery and Operative Surgery

VivifyNow was entrusted with the task of preparing a Business Plan for this $10 million project based in Edinburgh, Scotland, and then managing its implementation and operation over 4 years. The project is a major telecom infrastructure project connecting Edinburgh to London, bringing benefits of advanced broadband to UK regions.
